AUSTIN BIOSCIENCE INSUSTRY

CITY SPOTLIGHT- 

A recent feature in the Austin Business Journal highlighted that Austin has been named the 3rd fastest emerging life science cities in the country on the CBRE Group Inc. (NYSE: CBRE) list of Top 10 U.S. emerging life sciences clusters, behind only Pittsburgh and Houston.There has been a concerted effort locally by a large number of people and organizations working to achieve this, spending a huge amount of time interacting with life science companies, large and small, as well as organizations that rely on them or are relied upon by them. This recognition of Austin's life science growth and potential is well earned and well deserved. Now, let's spread the word. In order to reach those outside the region, such as large pharma companies and investors in life science companies, we need to present the data. That's where we need your help.

The ACC Bioscience Incubator has teamed up with BioAustin to gather data on the local bioscience community. We hope to show the size and scope of the life science industry here in Austin.Doing this effectively and accurately requires your participation. The more information that you can provide, the better we can showcase the size and the strength of the region. We hope that it will also benefit you to be represented. The compiled list will be published on the BioAustin homepage, as it is often where people outside the region go to get a glimpse of what's happening in Austin.
