WET LAB AND STARTUP BUSINESS INCUBATOR
Addressing COVID-19

Dear Friends, We hope this message finds you and your family well during this unprecedented time. Our hearts and thoughts go out to everyone who has already been impacted by this pandemic. As you well know, the spread of coronavirus is affecting us all. Please refer to these trusted resources for additional information on COVID-19 and what you can do: World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and The COVID-19 ATX Exchange (ATXCE), a project of Dell Medical School at The University of Texas in collaboration with Austin Public Health and other community partners. Additionally, The Central Texas Health Innovation Relief LinkedIn group provides resources and information for startups and entrepreneurs in Central Texas' health and life science innovation ecosystem during the COVID-19 pandemic. Here at the Austin Community College Bioscience Incubator, our mission is to provide a fully equipped and affordable lab space to the Austin biotechnology economy. By establishing a permanent wet lab facility and business incubator to Central Texans, companies and students gain rare, hands on workforce experience in an innovative and accessible space. In the midst of this outbreak, ABI is shifting the ways that we serve the community, keeping safety first and foremost. Please note: ABI will be closed to the public until further notice. Lab facilities will only be open to member companies working on direct solutions to the COVID-19 pandemic.ABI wants to let you know how much we appreciate the sacrifices each and every one of you are making to keep our communities safe. Thank you to all of the tireless medical personnel who are putting themselves at risk everyday to save lives. COVID-19 has brought the world together with a singular sense of purpose. We will overcome this pandemic and be stronger for it.
